To: The Class of 53 and Class of 54 and other cherished friends.
It has been a little longer then intended for you to hear from me but,
things have been happening and I wanted to provide you with a little
more then just another reminder so I been waiting on a few items to
finalize so I could tell you about them all.
The date for homecoming has been set for Saturday October 11, 2003
Therefore, our 50th Class Reunion will be Friday October 10, 2003
Carol Felts, Lou Sims, and Carol Ann Petty went together on an
investigative trip Tuesday August 5, 2003 to find us a place to meet for
our 50th Class Reunion.
In the final analysis with all things considered, they decided the best
place that met our needs and requirements for what we want to do was the
Cliff House Restaurant in Stamford, Texas
The Cliff House has a large separate dinning area and they are going to
partition off the back section for us to use and provide us with ice
tea, water, and coffee for the afternoon.
The room will be ours from 2:00 PM in the afternoon until closing time
or Randy the owner told them maybe even past closing if we wanted it.
Around 6:00 PM that evening we will be able to order a sit down meal
from the menu.
After the evening meal, it is planned to have a minor program of sorts
just to give anyone who has something to say the opportunity to say it.
I personally will have something to say because I would like for us to
remember those classmates no longer with us and would like to tell and
hear told a few stories in honor of their lives.
So there you have it folks, The date and location have been set and you
have exactly two months or 60 days to make your plans and arrangements
to be there.
It is now hoped with the date set that those you who have not replied
with a YES or NO regarding your attendance will now please let us know
your intentions.
AND although some of you might not like me bringing it up, the facts of
life are that this will be the last time some of us will see each other
in this life time.
Therefore, I encourage everyone to make an all out effort to attend and
let's make this a happy fun time for all with many memorable stories to
take back home.
I am keeping the Class of 53 members without E-Mail informed and Carol
Ann is contacting the Class of 54 members who don't have E-Mail.
I am also keeping Troy and Pat Denham informed.
AND a copy of all the messages are posted on the Web Site of:

of the web site has been updated to reflect the 50th Class Reunion date
and location.
Expect some reminder message to follow as we count down to October 10th.
Today on the Web Site Countdown Clock it says 60 Days.
I will also send out an updated message about who we have heard from and
those who are coming. Does anyone know where Earlene Lawrence is. I
would like to invite her if someone can tell me how to contact her.
